Much as we love our four-legged friends, there are times we have to leave them. This is something that has become particularly apparent during the Covid-19 pandemic as many of us adopted new furry family members whilst we were able to work from home.
Returning to the office has then presented potential challenges as our dogs adjust to their new routines. For this reason, we offer a number of services to help take away the anxiety of being away for the day.
We are happy to provide a pop-in service in the area local to us. Whether you have a puppy who is getting used to being left or if you have a dog recovering from surgery or with other health needs, we offer a 30-minute visit to check on them. We will feed them & allow them into the garden as required.
Whilst we are not aiming to provide a dog-walking service at this stage, we are happy to provide a short walk (10-15 mins) as part of the pop-in. For a walk of up to 40 minutes, we would charge an additional £5.
For days you have to travel, on holidays abroad or when you can’t take your dogs with you, we provide our pet-focused sitting service in your home. Whether it is for 4 hours or 2 weeks we can provide care for your dog in their familiar environment & keeping to their usual routines. This can massively reduce anxiety for them & for you.
We will always meet you & your pet/s prior to our stay (cost £10). As part of our ‘meet & greet’ we will complete a pet information form to ensure we have everything we need to offer your dog/s an individual service. This includes temperament & quirks, behaviour in the home & on walks, routines, health & vet details.
We will walk dogs as part of our sitting service, although we will only use a lead or harness (no off-lead walks). If you require off-lead exercise for your dog/s, please discuss this with us and we can look to book a secure field (additional cost).
*All costs are for up to two dogs. Three or more dogs may have a surcharge of £5 per dog, per 24 hours.
If you have a small number of cats & other small animals in addition to your dog/s, we will include them as part of our sitting service for no additional charge.
Travel will be charged @ 45p per mile for any journey over 10 miles from Barry.
A deposit of £50 is required to secure any booking of 24 hours or more. The balance is requested 48 hours prior to our sit.
We reserve the right to withhold the deposit for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to your booking.
